Trip Advisor - Val Cenis

‘Another outstanding holiday’
We have been to Hotel Alpazur on four occasions and this was our best holiday there yet. Staff were friendly, food outstanding for what was offered and of course to help we had excellent snow.
The new coaches are very comfortable but we did find the DVD on the outward journey prevented us getting the early sleep which has ensured we were fresh for the extra day on the slopes on arrival.

‘A really great hotel and destination for a family ski holiday’
We had a gorgeous family room overlooking the river at the back of the hotel, with views to the high speed chair lifts, ice skating rink and pine trees. Our room was clean, super warm and we had plenty hot water. There was a good amount of space in the room for the 4 of us, with a separate toilet to the bath/shower room. It was cleaned each day and we were given trays to put our ski boots on so we could keep them warm in our room. Our 6 year old boys loved the bunk beds and a hot bath every night. The team of staff were terrific, led by a lovely couple who always seemed to be around if you needed them. Loved the afternoon tea with a selection of freshly made cakes - nightmare for the waistline! We got into a great routine, having a big breakfast, then out to ski school, which was an easy walk from the hotel. We could order packed lunches, so if the boys returned cold or tired, we could go back to the hotel and eat our lunches either down in the lovely warm games room, sat on one of the sofas, or upstairs in one of the hotel lounges. Back out for a ski in the afternoon, then returning to all those cakes and hot drinks. We managed to get in the outdoor Jacuzzi which was incredible and well worth the few steps on snow to get into it!!!!! Steam, flashing lights under the water, the river behind us, snow falling and the mountains above us - a really great moment for us all!!! The chefs organised an early sitting for dinner for the children in the hotel, with some lovely staff looking after us. Then we would enjoy the 4 course evening meals which were plentiful and delicious. The staff organised some after dinner events in the hotel bar which were great! A kind of talent show, a really hard quiz, (well for us anyway) and then the last night Fancy Dress party!! We could go night skiing after dinner one evening and ice skating another. Our boys did a torch light descent one early evening which was organised by ski school - brilliant!!! We always felt welcomed when we returned to the hotel or came down from our room - it was cosy, comfortable and a home from home experience for us. The staff were so kind and friendly and really helped make this a great family holiday - thank you.

‘Great hotel, great staff’
Had a lovely time here thanks to great value for money. The most friendly staff I've ever come across and wonderful food. Housekeeper Jo from Yorkshire did a great job with the rooms, although no chocolates provided on the pillows and no swan bath robes. Joanna on reception was truly enthusiastic and professional in every possible way, she was always there to say good morning first thing and good night last thing at night. Her unique personality made our week extra special. Kitchen assistant Damian should stay here season after season along with Craig the wonderful chef (who likes mushrooms). Had a lovely day skiing with staff member Lottie who took us on a great day up in the mountains. Finally, the broken Wi-Fi and hot-tub were both fixed by the end of our stay - thank you Peter, Jo and staff for a truly memorable week!

‘Brilliant Hotel’
This is for the hotel only - not the coach trip!!! It would be unfair to rate the coach trip as this is for the hotel, not the company that gets you there.

Having vowed never to travel with Snowcoach again, our friends who we had met at St Gervais in 2010 persuaded us that the hotel in Val Cenis was miles better. It certainly was, with a lovely greeting by the staff after a gruelling 14hr coach trip. We were whisked in to the restaurant and had a plentiful breakfast before getting our ski passes and then on to the boot room to get our skis. All done very quickly and were on the slopes by 1.30pm.
For the rest of the stay, the chef and staff were really great and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is 3 star but the room was clean, the water hot (but not necessarily in the afternoon) and the beds fine.

On Christmas day we had a slap up dinner with all the traditional fayre - a really good evening and always with plentiful (if slightly 'cheap' wine)!! Compared to St Gervais in 2010 when we were presented with a turkey escalope, this was 5 star!!!

The skiing was fine for us (we are not that expert) and the snow was great, the slopes prepared well and easy to get around. We will certainly go back not only in the summer (shame the hotel isn't open then) to explore all the mountain passes as there are many of the Tour de France routes very close by but also in the winter again but by car this time!!
Thanks to the team for a very enjoyable stay - made our Christmas!

Trip Advisor - St Gervais

‘Big powder days in St Gervais’
Having booked a great value holiday with Snowcoach, all our expectations were on the mountain and the conditions rather than the hospitality. However we really enjoyed our stay at the terminus. All the staff were great and really helped us to enjoy our stay. The room although small gave us everything we needed and the Jacuzzi / Steam room were great for recovering after a hard day on the slopes.

Compliments to the hotel chef, and especially our guide Jack who was a true gent, and with the help of some amazing conditions gave us some of the best boarding I have done.

I'll be back!

‘Lots of snow and a lovely hotel’
Just returned from 4 days skiing in St Gervais. The small town of Le Fayet, 10 mins away is home to Hotel Terminus, run by Snowcoach and although I didn't stay there, 4 friends did. My own hotel did not offer a ski transfer so Snowcoach staff very kindly allowed me to use their transfers so I could be with my friends. The service to & from the slopes was efficient & only took 10 mins.
There is a very comfortable lounge with lovely open fire and my friends said the food was great. Also Jacuzzi & games room is a nice bonus. I was also able to just pay 2Euros and join in with as much tea & cake in the afternoon that I wanted.
I really must pay huge thanks to Jack Guest, the hotel's ski guide who was friendly, knowledgeable & courteous. My friends & I saw so much more with his guiding than we could have done alone. A lovely treat in the town of Megeve is the horse & carriage ride (free with your ski pass) from one side of the town to the other. Again, we would not have known this if it wasn't for Jack.
Hotel is just 500yds from Le Fayet Gare Station and is also virtually next door the fab Mont Blanc Tramway.
The overall impression I received from Terminus was one of courteous helpful staff, social atmosphere & fun.

‘Thumbs up Snowcoach’
Six of us stayed for a week's skiing. The hotel staff ran it all so smoothly that we just had to enjoy ourselves, lovely food, staff were always friendly and helpful, the ski guides were magnificent! Well done, Snowcoach, for getting a great team together and giving us a week to remember.

‘Wish our short stay had been longer’
We spent 2 nights at the hotel with our twin, 6 year old boys. The family room was great, with the boys loving the bunk beds. Warm, clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water, we all slept well and the new flat screen TV in the room was a bit of a bonus. Staff were so lovely and helpful, even letting the boys write up and decorate the evening menu on the black board!!!!! The children ate an early children's dinner, giving us the opportunity to relax throughout the later, 4 course evening meal. Hats off to the chefs, really great food and lots of it! We sat at big tables with 10/12 other guests, tucking into nicely presented, hot and interesting dishes - the complementary wine was a great temptation and the odd glass went down very well! Loved all the chat around the dinner table where we heard about all the great skiing destinations folks were getting out to!!!! The indoor Jacuzzi and the games room were other winners for us. We went over to the park, across from the hotel - Thermes de St Gervais les Bains- building a snowman and throwing snowballs. Loved the old tram that passes by the hotel on its way up to St Gervais and Les Houches and was enchanted by the horse drawn carriages up in Megeve. We loved it all - thank you.

‘Brilliant Value’
My 5th year at Terminus with Snowcoach. Seasonal staff means things may be a bit variable. Last season was not so good but I did return. WOW!..what a difference. The crew were all up for it and delivered everywhere, everybody, every time. With three friends we arrived, as usual by sleeper train from Paris at the station 400m away at 8.50, breakfast still on for us, passes available as booked, changed and skiing by 11 while most skiers were still in a queue at Gatwick. This is a great set up for single skiers. Huge area to ski with the inclusive coach options and guiding including Les Houches via the wonderful 1902 Mt Blanc Tram from outside the hotel. My only problem was having to come home after a full final Saturday on the mountain.

‘Great Value with excellent staff’
Stayed at the Hotel Terminus as one of a group of 8 forty something men and all were delighted with the experience.

The staff are a group of young enthusiasts where nothing was too much trouble and they are a credit to the company. The hotel itself is fine. It is comfortable and whilst the rooms are a bit small and basic, especially if you're sharing with a big ol' unit, they are adequate. Club Med rooms aren't much bigger. The bathrooms had a shower you could stand up in with plenty of hot water and the rooms were warm. The large Jacuzzi was a great bonus at the end of a day's skiing.

Skis from the hotel were excellent and better than any I have hired before and fitting was swift and professional with no queues stretching out of the door and the usual ruck to initially hire them and then return them.

Food was good and wholesome with plenty of wine at dinner. The table arrangements of seating groups together with people on their own or in smaller groups with a staff member at each table works well. OK you may get to sit next to a bore one night and a flirt the next, but it makes you get to dinner early thereafter and sit next to the pretty members of staff!

After dinner the staff explained where the skiing will be best the next day and the coaches and minibuses head that way the following morning. There are 3 leaving times so no need to rush and take the good breakfast easy. Guiding is excellent and I'd recommend all do this, at least in the morning, rather than struggle with a piste map and waste an hours skiing. The ski region is great with wide open fast runs over 2400m down to tree lined pistes into the villages with no one on them, all are well served by lifts.

The best recommendation is that we will be going back next year and maybe getting to dinner a bit earlier for the best seats.

‘Very, very good skiing (snowboarding) holiday’
Snow coach is an excellent company if you are thinking a about budget skiing holiday good skiing resort with over 400 km of skiing on the evasion ski pass staying at the St Gervais resort staying at terminus hotel staff and food are excellent rooms are basic but how much time do u actually spend in your room when you have got 10 man Jacuzzi to enjoy after the day on the slopes.
Skiing guiding is excellent with 3 different skiing groups slow medium and fast and also don't mind if snowboarders join in, also when I have been to St Gervais there has always been a ski guide who also snowboard and if they are available the will take out a group of snowboarders for guiding I personally love this area as I have been back every year for the last 20 years

‘Good for the money and friendly service’
I stayed at the Terminus Hotel, run by ski travel company Snowcoach, in late January 2013, and would return. The hotel itself is rather tired, with a few quirks, such as a lift which doesn’t tell you which floor it’s at, and the heating is a bit unreliable, apparently not working in all rooms.
Despite this the staff are a delight. Nothing was too much trouble, including their sending a car to collect me at Geneva rail station at 1:30 a.m., after my flight from Edinburgh to Geneva had been diverted to Basle. I doubt many hotels of a higher rating would provide such a good response to a nightmare journey.
My room needed attention to the heating, and the shower head was coming off the wall. Both of these were fixed with alacrity, and the staff were very careful to ensure that ski and boot fitting and setting were done with attention to comfort and safety.
The package from Snowcoach included breakfast and an excellent dinner, which was varied and included cheese and coffee/tea, together with wine. The food was as good as I have enjoyed when skiing, with generous quantities.
As a seasoned traveller I’ve stayed in a variety of hotels, including five star international hotels when travelling on business, and very occasionally appalling places, with cramped accommodation, and poor food and facilities. Whilst the Terminus is no Radisson/SAS it is entirely satisfactory, and as mentioned before, benefits from really nice staff.
The main point of being in St Gervais/Le Fayet is to enjoy the skiing g, and in this context Snowcoach offer a competitive package with many advantages. These include the ski guiding, their own ski and boot hire, with expert fitting, a games room with a working pool table, lashings of hot shower water and excellent dinners.
The location is first class, with the St. Gervais Le Fayet station at the bottom of the road, should one wish to get there by train from Paris (which some of the other guests had done). A number of the other guests had stayed at the Terminus before and intended to return.
I would have no hesitation in accepting an opportunity to return, but feel that a bit of attention to the decor; the lift and the heating would be beneficial. But then the price would probably go up!

‘Ski Holiday’
We stayed in this hotel over the New Year 2012/2013. This hotel was excellent value for money. Food was homemade and delicious, lots of wine with meal and dining room was comfortable. Our room was small but adequate and beds made daily. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our holiday. The skiing was the best in France and the location of the hotel was brilliant. The ski guide was very good and added to the enjoyment of our holiday. For a two star hotel, the facilities are more like four star and we would recommend this holiday.

‘Skiing with Snowcoach’
Travelled overnight to hotel with Snow Coach on arrival staff helpful friendly & competent; which set tone for the week.
Meals were provided "chalet style". The food was varied & for most part excellent. The afternoon cakes after days skiing worth a particular mention for their yumminess.
The bar area is clean & welcoming always has blazing log fire.
Transport to & from the foot of the slopes provided by coach was efficient & timely.
Ski explorer/guides provided by hotel were brilliant.
The small town of Le Fayet is not up to much certainly not a place for those who want après ski.

‘Hotel Terminus’
Just returned from a week at the Terminus in La Fayet, excellent value for money, rooms are clean and comfortable, food good, and the staff help full, if you are expecting 5 star then you will be disappointed it' a good 2 star with 3 or 4 star food. Initially I was a bit concerned about the distance to the slopes, but the bus takes less than 10 mins to the first lift and works well, bottom line I would go back and probably will.

‘Best Holiday Yet’
We visited the Hotel Terminus over the New Year with Snow coach. Although we have never had a bad holiday with them, this was by far the best! The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and even though it was early in the season, everything was running smoothly and professionally. We would like to give a special mention to Natalie (the hotel manager), and Bob (our amazing ski- guide). They really made this holiday for us. The Chefs also deserve special mention as the food was first class (even catering for earlier meals for our 10 year old daughter, and doing everything they could to provide alternatives for her fussy mother!) Overall an excellent holiday. We have made some great new friends, and look forward to visiting again.

‘Much Improved’
I stayed in this hotel in early January 2013 on a Snowcoach holiday. I can only class it as very good and good value for the price of the holiday. Our entire group was very impressed with the quality of the meals. The staff were very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone planning a ski holiday. It is particularly good for anyone skiing on their own as they provide ski guiding at no extra cost. We found this particularly useful as the guides know the best places to ski according to the prevailing weather conditions.
I understand this hotel used to be pretty poor but this is no longer the case. Under the new management and staff it is first class and I will probably return later in the season.

‘Hotel Terminus’
Visited the Hotel Terminus for the New Year on a packaged Ski Holiday with Snow coach. This was one of our best visits yet. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and provided great service. Special mention to Natalie the Hotel Manager, always friendly and nothing too much trouble! The food was amazing, tasty and plentiful - including the afternoon tea cakes baked by one of the chefs. The room was clean and comfortable; en-suite bathroom was a decent size, with plenty of hot water. First time we have used the Free Ski Guiding Service - our ski guide Bob contributed to an excellent holiday. We will be visiting again in a few weeks’ time. Overall an excellent holiday, great value for money, made some amazing friends, looking forward to our next visit!

‘Totally amazing value for money’
Snowcoach have found some real super stars to staff the hotel this year a great first week to the season.
I will be returning at the end of the season it was so good.
The food and service was "totes amaze balls"

‘A great place to stay for a good value family ski holiday’
This was our first family ski holiday to France with Snowcoach. We had read some reviews of the hotel from last season and were apprehensive as to what to expect this season, however there was no need.
As stated by other recent reviewers, the hotel has had a complete change of staff this season and was great especially considering the reasonable price we paid.
The hotel could not be faulted on cleanliness (well done Andrea!) and the lounge and dining area were comfortable and nicely decorated. The roaring fire was always appreciated on chilly evenings.
We had a family room and whilst it was compact, there was plenty of wardrobe space. The room was slightly tired (especially the bathroom) and could do with a little bit of tlc but nothing overly drastic and about the standard you would expect from a 2 star hotel. I'm sure that sorting out the condensation on the windows would improve the room immensely. Being a skiing holiday, we spent most of the day on the slopes and only slept in the rooms so it was not a problem for us.
The food was great. A good choice of hot and cold items for breakfast ~ the porridge is lovely and just the thing before hitting the slopes when the temperature is -15! Lovely cakes when we came in from the slopes in the late afternoon and a wonderful 4 course meal in the evening accompanied by very drinkable wine! The chef came round in the evening to make sure everyone was happy with their food and was very accommodating if there was something on the menu for the next day which was not suitable (due to allergies etc).
All the staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and I could not fault any of them.
The hot tub is a must for refreshing tired legs at the end of a day skiing and was a big hit with the kids in our party. Again I was impressed with the cleanliness of the tub.
A great holiday and I wish I was there now. Vin chaud anyone?!

‘Excellent service and friendliness in a very clean but basic hotel’
I stayed here for three nights with my family on a Snowcoach holiday. It was a very good experience indeed! The hotel has everything you need, the staff are plentiful and amazingly helpful, food is good, wine is free and the slopes are just outside the front door. What more could you want for this price? Nothing really! I have stayed in the swankiest of chalets and the most basic of hostels but all in all this was about the best experience I have had (and this was about my 50th time skiing).
Nowhere is perfect and I feel the frequent changeovers with luggage left in the lounge area gives the place a transient feel. The boot room could easily be improved with some more shelves, hangers and a drying system. Parts of the hotel feel functional rather than luxurious, but I really am splitting hairs now. It is a great holiday experience overall and you really should try it. Well done Snowcoach and Hotel L'Aigle!!!

‘Amazing’
We have just had an amazing week in this hotel, we know they have had problems in the past but everything was truly fantastic. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the food, well, what can we say it was incredible. The chef came out each night to check that everyone was happy. They worked very hard to ensure that it was a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. We are definitely going back

‘A great trip with friends’
After working with Snowcoach for a good ten years and meeting my husband out there we thought that this destination would be the perfect place to go skiing with our young son and friends. We were not disappointed at all. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and to hotel was spacious and clean. Everything was in walking distance from the snow garden at the back of the hotel to the slopes out the front. The staff were excellent in helping out with any enquires that we had and also provided a great kids club service for times where our son did not ski. Our rooms were kept clean and fresh towels were provided when requested. The evening meals consisted of 4 courses which was more than enough and the variety was great. Again with the morning breakfast you had a good choice ranging from different juices to a good mix of cooked foods.
I have read a number of bad reviews and have to say that I believe this hotel is excellent value for money. I along with my family and friends would not hesitate in returning to this hotel again or in recommending it to people in the future. A great hotel, great location and a great holiday.

I have just returned from a week at Hotel L’Aigle in Valmeinier (26 Dec – 2 Jan). I have been skiing for 26 years and took a party of 6 this year. The coach trip was fine but I have never come across a hotel where all staff are so enthusiastic, exuberant, polite, helpful and would go out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Your maintenance man worked tirelessly, Mikey was always cheerful behind the bar and created a party atmosphere which even got us oldies on our feet. The food was excellent, so big thanks to Becky and her two assistants. Lauren kept the small one happy. You only had to make eye contact with a member of staff and a cheerful face would say hello or help you out. Even if they had a day off they would be there clearing cups or helping each other. Jordan and Jess are brilliant team leaders while mucking in to get the job done. You have an excellent team in the L’Aigle and I hope you can hang on to them.

We just came back from our holiday with yourselves in Austria. We would like to pass on our congratulations as you have two fantastic drivers and representatives of your company in Linda and Beresford. Driving 40 people down to Austria overnight over February half term is not an easy task, and they carried out their duties wonderfully. The traffic going down was very heavy – we could not believe the number of cars, buses and lorries on the German motorways at 3 o’clock in the morning! Coming back they had to leave later than planned, and then had two bad snowstorms, and a delayed ferry to contend with. However they were always cool and calm under pressure, drove safely, were polite with all the customers and kept us all informed in a positive way about what was happening. They are a real asset to your company.
Kirstin and Antony Dennis – email

I have just returned from a Snowcoach holiday with a party of 10 in Valmeinier at the Club Hotel L’Aigle. I have been skiing for about 25 years, staying at all kinds of accommodation but in all these years we have not been treated so well. All the staff were more than willing to make our stay so comfortable and they were always polite and really cheerful. I would not hesitate in staying there again and would recommend this hotel to anybody.’
Keith Simpson – Stevenage

‘Just got back from a great week’s holiday in Mayrhofen staying at the Chalet St Lukas. I would like to compliment your team out there. Andy, Rachel, John, Tom, Elaine and everyone else. They could not have done more to help make the week a success. Every arrangement, every event, the daily coach trips were all superbly well organised. The quality of the food was of a very high standard every day. A tremendous value for money ski trip. We’ll be back.’
Norman Seddon – email

‘Had a superb time in Val Cenis, you have certainly assembled a good crew this year, all very friendly and hard working, with some real characters. The food was excellent, and credit must go to the lads in the kitchen. The new lifts linking to Termignon are a real benefit to the area, and makes a couple of hours in Termignon really easy to tag onto the start or the end of the day, and you feel as if you have covered a large area during the day.’
Stephen Robinson – Cumbria

‘I am just writing to say what a lovely holiday we have just had (7-14 March) in Valmeinier. Most of our group travelled by coach this year, what an easy and trouble free journey we had both ways thanks to your excellent drivers. The staff at the hotel were great, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so friendly and hard working they seemed like a really good team. The food was very good too, well done to the chefs. Everyone in our group thought the new coffee machines were a great idea. With excellent snow conditions and a few sunny days everyone had a fabulous time and we are looking forward to returning to Valmeinier next year.’
Linda Jefferson – St Albans

‘We returned from Hotel Alpazur on Sunday 11 January and it has been without doubt our best ski holiday in 50 years. Admittedly the excellent snow conditions helped but we found the whole experience most enjoyable due to the excellent attitude of all your staff and smooth arrangements including the travel which all worked perfectly. The food was fantastic both in quality and quantity as we did appreciate the wine, particularly the Savoie red. Thank you so much and we have every intention of coming again next year, maybe bringing some friends.’
Peter and Rosalie Eddis - email

‘We had an amazing week of skiing at
St. Gervais.  The snow was good and we had wonderful weather.  A great variety of places to ski meant that more runs could be explored in the best conditions.  The four places we explored were St. Gervais, Les Contamines, Combloux, Les Houches and Megeve, all having an excellent Snowcoach bus service to and from the hotel and the slopes. Another opportunity we had was to ski the Vallee Blanche, which was worth every penny.  This once in a lifetime opportunity gave us breath-taking scenery which I had only seen on the TV before!’
David Sturdy - email

‘I am writing to you regarding my recent stay at the Hotel Terminus in January.  After a five year break since my last stay at the Terminus, having defected to Mayrhofen, I was very impressed by the efficiency of your staff.  2009 marks my 20th year of skiing with Snowcoach.  In 1989 I went to Andorra and I have not missed a year since and have had at least one Snowcoach holiday every year and sometimes 3 or 4!.  I have stayed at all your Club hotels in France and most chalets in Austria.  I have made so many friends through Snowcoach over the years and would like to take the opportunity to thank you for this.  I intend to return in the 2009/10 season and, of course, will be travelling with Snowcoach.’
Liz Cabban, Wales

‘Last week we returned from an excellent week at the Hotel Terminus. May we congratulate you on your team there, all the members of staff we encountered were polite and helpful and the menus for the evening meals were balanced, very tasty and plentiful. We will look forward to next season with Snowcoach.’
Mr J. Simmonds – Kent

‘I have just returned from our family holiday in Val Cenis where we rented the apartment at the Hotel Alpazur. This is just a short note to say thanks for a great holiday. The apartment was top class and the staff at the hotel were a credit to you. A great family winter holiday was had by all. Thanks.’
Mr R. Floyd – Devon

‘I recently travelled with yourselves to Val Cenis by coach. On arrival, the Hotel staff made everyone feel extremely welcome. I have to mention that I am thoroughly impressed with the attitude and helpfulness of all the staff. The food was exceptional, the attention to detail was second to none, the accommodation was very clean and the facility of the Ski Safari was brilliant. I have travelled to France many times for skiing holidays and this trip with Snowcoach has been the best experience. I will definitely be using them again.’
Mr J. Wade – Cambs

‘Your team looked after us very well during our stay in Valmeinier and we were impressed by the efficiency and friendly service we received. Thank you.’
Mr .C. Moore - West Midlands

‘We’ve just returned from a brilliant holiday in Valmeinier. It’s our sixth holiday there and they’ve all been good but this year the whole team in the hotel were great, led by a very professional manager. The coach journeys were smooth and both drivers were extremely nice. We’ll definitely be back.’
Mrs T. Rand – Norfolk

‘A very warm and hospitable Chalet in Mayrhofen. Lovely staff, it’s been a pleasure on our part. Thank you. The food was superb! Well done chef. All the staff passed on sound words of wisdom to us, especially when the day’s skiing did not go as well as expected (we are beginners)!
Mr L Lowe – London

‘My husband and I returned from France on Saturday after a week’s stay at the l’Aigle Hotel in Valmeinier. This is the sixth holiday we have taken with Snowcoach and the fifth time we have stayed at the l’Aigle. As always, the organisation and administration at booking was very efficient.’
Mrs. S. Livingstone – Kent

‘It is usual that hotel staff don’t get any recognition for their efforts but we would like to say thanks to all the staff at the Hotel l’Aigle, in Valmeinier My daughter was very happy with the Kiddies Club, the food was great and the general feel was very up beat. I would also like to thank the Head Office staff who helped with all the arrangements. Thank you and all good wishes for the 2007/2008 season.’
Mr. S. Coombs - St. Albans

‘I am writing with regards to the Snowcoach Skiing Holiday Competition which I entered last year and won the prize of a week’s skiing holiday for two. We went to the Hotel Terminus in St. Gervais and had a most enjoyable holiday. The skiing conditions were excellent and the service at the hotel enabled us to have a most memorable vacation. We would like to thank you for running the competition and offering such a marvellous prize.
Mr Roy. Blank – Devon

We have recently returned from a short break to Valmeinier and the drivers were superb. By going on this break we kept up our record of having visited the Hotel l’Aigle every year since it opened and this was the most relaxing journey yet. Thanks!
Mr and Mrs. S. Johnson - East Yorkshire

Train to Valmeinier!
Went by Eurostar to Paris and had to change stations but then just stayed on the train with no changes, direct to St. Michel du Maurienne. We then took the local bus (maybe Saturdays only) up to Valmeinier to the Hotel and got dropped off right outside! It was easy and most enjoyable!‘
