Our Aim
The promotion of responsible tourism is central to our ethos here at Snowcoach Holidays. We recognise that the mountains and valleys that we visit are precious environments and our enjoyment of them can have a great impact. As keen skiers, hikers and mountain bikers we want to ensure that future generations will continue to be able to enjoy the mountains.
Our Partners
The Travel Foundation is an independent charity that encourages the UK travel industry to protect destinations. In our resorts, by owning the hotels and chalets we are able limit our impact upon the local environment by ensuring we recycle and reduce energy consumption as much as possible – without impacting upon your holiday. A key factor of the Travel Foundation is the support of the local economy and wherever possible we use local suppliers for activities as well as most of our food supplies.
Here at Alps Adventures we have teamed up with Friends of Conservation, a charity that is dedicated to the promotion of responsible tourism. As well as promoting a travellers code as part of our association with Friends of Conservation we also sponsor one of their amazing projects. The Climate Care Organisation is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable transport and carbon offsetting. Carbon offsetting is a simple method by which you can counter your impact upon the environment by funding sustainable energy projects. So whether you fly, drive or go by coach you can be carbon neutral! |
