Friendly social skiing in all resorts
Join one of our FREE Ski Exploring groups in resort and find out just how pleasant it is to be shown around the mountain, barely having to look at a piste map all day. It is also a great way to meet other guests from your resort, bringing together skiers of similar standards for fantastic social days out on the slopes.
Snowcoach’s FREE ski exploring is offered five days a week.
Groups are often split into a faster paced group for more advanced skiers, wishing to explore the area quickly, and a more leisurely group to cruise around the mountain, perfect for mixed ability friends, families and groups. The only prerequisite is that you can confidently ski red runs.
We think you will be hard pushed to find any large operator offering a similar level of service. Our Ski Explorers are keen, responsible and experienced skiers, chosen for their love of the sport. They are skiing in the resort all season, so they will be best placed to help with all your ski related queries, from helping with your ski hire at the start of the week, to finding the best local snow conditions and the nicest mountain restaurants.
Our Explorers are there to ski socially with our clients, but do not act as group leaders or instructors. Local restrictions prevent our ski explorers from teaching, so if you require a little more practice, they will happily point you towards more gentle, confidence boosting slopes in the area.
Ski Exploring may be subject to weather conditions and local restrictions. Places are on a first-come first-served basis, sessions may be split dependent on numbers. Ski Exploring sessions are informal and the standard may vary each week and will be set by the majority level of skiers. To be fair to everyone, groups may be split into separate morning and afternoon sessions, meeting at lunchtime for a sociable chat. The Ski Exploring service in France may be subject to local French authorities’ restrictions. Ski Exploring runs in conjunction with the Ski Safari where applicable. To enjoy this service you must have purchased your ski pass through Snowcoach.
