Going by coach is not only cheaper, it’s better for the environment.
With all the awareness in the press, its not hard to imagine that flying emits more CO2 than going by coach, but we did some quick calculations at http://www.climatecare.org and found out that flying from Gatwick to Geneva releases 90kg of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Travelling by coach, that figure drops to just 15kg per person. |
